Practice Plans Overview
Practice Plans help you structure effective training sessions with organized time blocks and activities.
Key Features
Structured Planning
- Name & Tags - Organize plans with titles and tags
- Days - Specify which days of the week
- Time Slots - Divide each day into focused time blocks
- Activities - Assign drills, plays, or exercises to each slot
Templates
Save plans as templates for reuse:
- Mark any practice plan as a template
- Apply templates to new plans
- Customize for different phases of the season
Integration with Playbook
Link activities directly to plays:
- Reference specific plays from your playbook
- Include media attachments
- Navigate to plays from the practice plan
Accessing Practice Plans
- Click Practice Plans in the sidebar
- View your plans in a table
- Click a plan to edit or view details

Creating a Practice Plan
Step 1: Basic Info
- Click New Plan
- Enter a name
- Add tags for organization
- Select which days this plan applies to
Step 2: Add Time Slots
- Click Add Time Slot
- Name the slot (e.g., "Warm Up", "Team Drills")
- Set the duration
Step 3: Add Activities
Within each time slot:
- Click to add an activity
- Enter activity details
- Link to plays from your playbook (optional)
- Add notes or media
Present Mode
Display your practice plan on a big screen:
- Open a practice plan
- Click Present
- The plan displays in full-screen mode
- Navigate between time slots
- Press Escape to exit
Present Mode is useful for:
- Team meetings
- Field-side reference
- Projector display
Best Practices
- Keep time slots focused - 15-20 minute blocks work well
- Include transitions - Account for water breaks and setup
- Use tags - Tag plans by week, phase, or focus area
- Save as template - Reuse successful structures
