Organizing Your Playbook

Keep your plays organized and easy to find with folders, tags, and views.

Folders​

Creating Folders​

  1. In the Playbook sidebar, click New Folder
  2. Enter a folder name
  3. Drag plays into the folder

Folder Structure Ideas​

Organize by formation:

Tags​

Tags help you filter plays across folders.

Creating Tags​

  1. Go to Settings → Tags
  2. Click New Tag
  3. Enter a name and choose a color
  4. Organize tags into categories

Situation

  • Red Zone
  • 3rd Down
  • Goal Line
  • Two-Minute

Concept

  • Zone Run
  • Power
  • Play Action
  • Screen

Personnel

  • 11 Personnel
  • 12 Personnel

Tagging Plays​

  1. Open a play
  2. Click the Tags button
  3. Select tags to apply
  4. Tags appear on play cards

Filtering by Tag​

  1. Click the Filter icon in the playbook
  2. Select one or more tags
  3. Only matching plays are shown

Views​

Switch between different views to browse your playbook:

Card View​

  • Visual preview of each play
  • Best for browsing and quick recognition
  • Shows play diagram thumbnail

Table View​

  • Spreadsheet-style list
  • Shows play details in columns
  • Best for sorting and bulk actions

Tree View​

  • Folder hierarchy navigation
  • Expand/collapse folders
  • Best for organized browsing

Grid View​

  • Compact thumbnail grid
  • See many plays at once
  • Best for visual scanning

Find plays quickly:

  1. Click the Search bar
  2. Type play name or keywords
  3. Results filter in real-time

Search looks at:

  • Play names
  • Tag names
  • Folder names
  • Notes and descriptions
