Teams
A Team is the central organizational unit in Athmete. Everything—plays, practice plans, rosters, events—belongs to a team.
- Each team has its own branding (colors, logo)
- Teams can have multiple members with different roles
- Users can belong to multiple teams
Plays & Playbook
The Playbook is where you design and organize your plays.
Plays
A Play is a visual diagram showing player positions, movements, and assignments.
- Contains formations with player positions
- Includes routes, blocks, and assignments
- Can have multiple variants (e.g., different defensive looks)
Formations
A Formation defines the starting positions of players before the play begins.
- Saved separately from plays for reuse
- Can be offensive or defensive
Tags
Use Tags to categorize and filter plays:
- Organize by situation (e.g., "Goal Line", "3rd and Long")
- Organize by concept (e.g., "Zone Run", "Play Action")
- Filter quickly during practice or games
Practice Plans
Practice Plans organize your training sessions with structured schedules.
Structure
- Days - Individual practice sessions
- Time Slots - Blocks of time within a day
- Activities - Specific drills or plays assigned to time slots
Templates
Save practice plans as Templates to reuse common structures.
Team Members
Roles
- Owner - Full control, billing management
- Head Coach - Administrative access
- Assistant Coach - Edit plays and plans
- Player - View access
Roster Players
Roster Players represent actual athletes on your team with:
- Jersey numbers and positions
- Contact information
- Guardian contacts (for youth teams)
Events
Schedule and manage team activities:
- Practices - Training sessions
- Games - Competitions
- Meetings - Team gatherings
- Custom Events - Any other activities
