Keep important content visible and engage with posts.
Pinning Posts
Pinned posts stay at the top of the Coach Board, ensuring everyone sees them.
How to Pin
- Click the menu (⋮) on a post
- Select Pin Post
- The post moves to the top with a pin indicator
Managing Pinned Posts
- Multiple posts can be pinned simultaneously
- Pinned posts appear in order of when they were pinned
- Unpin by clicking the menu → Unpin Post
Who Can Pin?
- Owners
- Head Coaches
- Post authors (their own posts only)
tip
Only pin truly important announcements. Too many pinned posts reduce their effectiveness.
Reactions
React to posts with emoji to show you've seen them or express sentiment without a full reply.
Adding a Reaction
- Hover over (or tap) a post
- Click the reaction icon (😊)
- Select an emoji
- Your reaction is added
Available Reactions
Common reactions include:
- 👍 Like / Thumbs up
- ❤️ Love
- 🎉 Celebrate
- 👏 Applause
- ✅ Acknowledge
Viewing Reactions
Click on the reaction count to see who reacted and with what emoji.
Removing Your Reaction
Click your reaction again to remove it.
Replies & Discussions
Start a threaded discussion on any post.
Replying to a Post
- Click Reply or the comment icon
- Write your reply
- Submit
Replies appear nested under the original post.
Reply Notifications
- Post authors are notified of all replies
- Users mentioned in replies are notified
- You're notified of replies to your replies
Viewing Replies
Click View Replies or the reply count to expand the thread.
Marking as Read
The Coach Board tracks which posts you've viewed.
- Unread posts - Highlighted or marked with indicator
- New since last visit - "New" badge appears
- Read status - Automatic as you scroll past
Mark All as Read
Click Mark All as Read to clear all unread indicators.
